'Chuck' star Zachary Levi says that he has found a home starring in the Broadway musical First Date, and he hopes that more actors - young and old - will do the same. Zachary plays an awkward blind dater, and the hilarious hijinks that ensue when he gets set up with Krysta Rodriguez's character in the play.
"I feel like all actors should (find a home on Broadway). Because there's nothing like it, and it's amazing."
The star began acting in plays when he was six, so his success on Broadway really shouldn't come as a surprise. Doing so much theater younger in his life really prepared him for the experience of acting on the larger stage, according to Levi.
"It's all community theater at the end of the day."
Levi apparently also had no idea he could really sing before voice-acting the part of Flynn Rider in the Disney movie Tangled, though he's always loved singing.
"You only know you can do something based on people's reactions to what you're doing. I can think I'm a great chef, but if nobody hires me to cook their food, then I'm probably not a good chef."
Zachary's next big project will be taking on the role of Fandral in the upcoming film Thor: The Dark World, which should be an interesting contrast to his current character.
