Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has spoken for the first time about her relationship with Eduardo Cruz, the baby brother of Hollywood actress Penelope.
The 36-year-old Texan beauty admitted that instead of being consumed with bitterness over the end of her marriage to Tony Parker , she's just glad she found the Spanish singer, who is ten years her junior. Longoria made the remarks to Vanity Fair Spain during an interview to accompany her winter themed photo shoot, which graces the December edition's cover.
Longoria's marriage ended when she discovered that the French-born basketball star Tony Parker, 29 , had been cheating on her. She told the magazine: 'The truth is, I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not. I was very lucky to find Edu.' Longoria filed for divorce from Parker last November after three years of marriage, and their divorce was finalised in February as things were just becoming serious with Eduardo.
Despite her divorce, Longoria has refused to become cynical about love. She said: 'There's a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it. Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another.'
