'Now You See Me' is on many 'Most Anticipated for 2013' lists, and with that cast, it's hard not to be excited. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Melanie Laurent, and Michael Caine. The first trailer did a solid job of establishing the world and making us intrigued about the film, but the just released second trailer for the film brings in more depth to the plot and story than we've seen before.
A brief synopsis of the plot reads [via IMDB], "FBI agents track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money."
From the trailer, we can see that our illusionists introduce themselves to the audience as the 'Four Horsemen', and we can also see them giving away most of the money they're robbing. So what's their goal? Well, if Mark Ruffalo's character has anything to do with it, we'll soon find out. There's also more focus on the visuals this time around, to solid effect. All in all, the trailer does a good job of expanding on the story presented in the first trailer without giving away too much of the plot.
'Now You See Me' comes out on May 31st and while it has tough competition from the summer blockbusters, it should be strong counter-programming for audiences who are sick of super-hero films.
