2012 to be the year of the animated movie?

It seems that 2012 is lining up to be the year of the animated movie, as there are over ten animated movies already set to be released. If you are a fan of animated movies, then 2012 is certainly going to be the year for you but if you are not, then you may want to avoid the cinema.

The animated movies due for release are as follows: Frankenweenie, Brave, Wreck-It Ralph, The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists, Ice Age: Continental Drift, ParaNorman, The Lorax, Rise of the Guardians, Hotel Transylvania and Madagascar 3. All of them seem worth a watch but which are you most looking forward to seeing?

Not only that, Disney look set to re-release Beauty and the Beast, following the success of The Lion King, which was re-released this year. Then there is also Pixar’s Finding Nemo, which is set to be re-released in the Autumn 2012. So, animated movie fans, save your money because you will need it in 2012.
