Star Trek Into Darkness is starting to build up promotional buzz, as its third teaser trailer debuted in front of Oz: The Great and Powerful this weekend. The trailer is technically considered a 'teaser', and it marks the second official teaser trailer we've received. While it doesn't hold a candle to the full theatrical trailer we received a couple of months ago, it certainly contains a lot more than what we would expect from a 'teaser'.

Chris Pine in 'Star Trek Into Darkness'
This trailer contains a few extended scenes from the first two trailers, and it seems to focus much more on Kirk than Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison. While focusing on Cumberbatch was a good strategy for the theatrical trailer, mainly because his character is starting to become a huge draw for both Trek and non-Trek fans, a large part of Star Trek's appeal is the relationship between Kirk and Spock.
While we don't see as much of the actual interaction between them in this trailer, we do see a lot more of them than we saw in the previous trailers. We also see more of that trademark Star Trek humor that was previously missing from the promotional material, where it was just omnious music and a threatening voiceover from Cumberbatch.
