The 30-year-old Australian actress has already appeared in movies such as Limitless, Sucker Punch and Seven Psychopaths and she is set to star in the movie The Girl. Abbie has revealed how she took five months out of her life to dedicate her time and effort to The Girl, learning Spanish along the way.
During an interview with Efe, Cornish explained, "It was an experience that absorbed me completely. I gave up my personal life for five months. There was nothing else I could do. But it was easy because I'm single, I have no kids, I live and alone, and the truth is I'm a workaholic. I don't have any other responsibilities."

Emily Blunt was initially cast in the lead role in The Girl but had to leave the project due to scheduling issues and Abbie Cornish was called in as her replacement. The Girl is set to be open on limited release in the US this weekend.
