15 year old Little Miss Sunshine actress, Abigail Breslin has revealed how she prepared for her first ever on screen kiss in the movie New Year’s Eve, which was released at the weekend. Abigail admitted that it felt very strange to be kissing somebody in front of a large number of people and she also made sure that there were plenty of breath mints on set before her kissing scene with Jake T. Austin.
Breslin explained, “It’s interesting to have to kiss somebody in front of like 25 people and a camera right in your face. And when they yell ‘cut,’ just walk away from each other and be like, ‘yeah, cool, cool.’” She added, “He’s very sweet, it was very professional, a lot of breath mints on set but he was very sweet.”
As well as Abigail Breslin and Jake T. Austin, New Year’s Eve also features an all star cast, including Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Jon Bon Jovi. New Year’s Eve, which was directed by Garry Marshall, is in theatres and cinemas in both the US and the UK and around the world, now.
