American music star Adam Lambert rose to stardom on the hit US television series American Idol, before going on to enjoy a long and successful career in the music industry. As is always the case with being a famous star, Adam has found his love life becoming a big talking point.
One of the most recent rumours surrounding the love life of Adam Lambert, is that the singer is dating the British music star Sam Smith, after they were seen out together. Adam has now opened up about these rumours, claiming that he hardly even knows Sam.
Lambert explained, "To be honest, we’re not that close but the little interaction we’ve had, he’s lovely, such a sweet guy. Sam was out with a group of his friends, I was out with a group of mine, and we were all drinking and having a laugh."
While Adam Lambert has made it perfectly clear that he and Sam Smith are definitely not dating, he does say that it would probably be easier to date someone who is already in the industry. Adam previously dated his ex-boyfriend, Finnish TV host Sauli Koskinen, with the couple bringing their relationship to an end in 2013.
Lambert added, "My ex is a celebrity in the country he was from, but he wasn’t international. In some ways it would be good because you’d both understand the world you live in,” before then going on to joke, "But it might get competitive."
As far as his career is concerned, Adam Lambert has spent a lot of time touring with Queen, which has led to rumours that he could star as Freddie Mercury in a new movie. Watch this space!
