Fans of former American Idol star Adam Lambert were disappointed when he chose not to tour his last alum Trespassing in the US. Adam has been doing a lot of touring with Queen over the past few years and still has some dates left but, following those, he will head back into the studio and says that an US tour could happen.
Lambert explained, "We didn’t end up touring for this last album, Trespassing, here in the states; we focused on some international touring."
He added, “I’m going to go back to the drawing board now, and get into the studio and keep making music — and hopefully it will reach even more people this next time. I’ve got to keep making things, and keep creating. Once it feels right, then a tour will come."
Adam Lambert first performed with Queen on the 2009 finale of American Idol, before then going on to perform with them on a number of occasions over the past few years. Next up for Adam Lambert and Queen is a gig in September at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, on the Garden Arena stage in conjunction with the iHeart Radio Music festival.
