Over the years we have seen many people from all areas of the entertainment industry, deciding to take the time to switch to a different spot in the industry and try to prove themselves once again. We have seen a lot of musicians making the movie into the acting industry on many occasions and, while some have struggled with the acting game, others have excelled.
One musician who is loving his experience in the acting industry, is the Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, who will appear in the movie Begin Again. Adam has now opened up about his role in the movie, making the surprising revelation that he actually performed in Begin Again for free and asked for no money to be in the project.
Levine was being interviewed by USA Today, when he revealed to them, "I did this movie for no money. I'm very lucky that I'm in that position. I want to have good experiences. I don't want to do a bunch of s**t that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money."
As well as starring Adam Levine, the strong Begin Again cast also includes the likes of Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld, James Corden, and Mos Def, among many others. Begin Again has been written and directed by John Carney, with the movie already being released in the US, while it will hit the big screen in the UK on July 11.
