Although Jeremy Irvine was supposedly rumored as part of the selected group of actors in the running for The Hunger Games trilogy as well as Divergent, it looks like he's found himself another YA adaptation.
Addison Timlin will star in 'Fallen'
'Fallen' by Lauren Kate is also being adapted into a film, and it will star Addison Timlin and Jeremy Irvine in the lead roles. The film will reportedly be directed by Scott Hicks.
The official synopsis for the book is, "There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move. Jeremy Irvine will also star in 'Fallen'
Irvine will play Daniel Grigori and Timlin will play Luce Price, and the film is tentatively being eyed for a 2015 release, although that year is already crowded for YA and blockbuster releases.
