Adele addresses the topic of her weight in her new book, ‘Adele: The Biography’. In an excerpt [via Digital Spy], she says, "I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me - 'Test pilot for pies' - but I've always been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."

adele has become a huge success
Adele clearly doesn’t care about her weight and all the criticism that she’s been receiving lately, especially after the recent birth of her child and the gain in pregnancy weight. Lady Gaga recently compared her weight gain to Adele’s, but if you ask me, there’s nothing similar about the two.
Gaga has previously been incredibly slim and seemed to be packing on the pounds, whereas Adele has always had a fuller figure. While the media focus would naturally shift to Gaga’s weight change, there has also always been an undercurrent of vitriolic comments towards Adele’s figure, especially on Youtube and social networking websites.

adele with a stunning performance
It seems that the weight debate will never die down, especially with this age of media scrutiny. Both Gaga and Adele have the right to gain and lose weight as they please, but because they’re in the public eye, they don’t have that luxury. However, it’s a testament to Adele’s strength that she feels that it doesn’t need to affect her unless she wants it to.
