English singer Adele was the biggest winner at the Grammy Awards last night, as she equalled the record for the most amount of Grammy Awards won by a female solo artist in one night. The Rolling in the Deep singer took away with her, six Grammy Awards, which equals the record set by singer Beyoncé, who won six Grammy Awards back in 2010.
Adele won Grammy Awards for every single category that she was nominated for, which are the following: Album Of The Year for 21, Record Of The Year for Rolling in the Deep, Best Pop Solo Performance for Someone Like You, Best Pop Vocal Album for 21, Song Of The Year for Rolling in the Deep and Best Short Form Music Video for Rolling in the Deep.
The 23 year old singer also took to the stage to perform her hit track Rolling in the Deep, Adele’s first live performance since she had surgery on her throat. The other big Grammy Award winners on the night were Foo Fighters, who managed to bag themselves five Grammy Awards at last night’s event. Congratulations to all of the winners.
