Rolling in the Deep singer Adele has revealed how she intends to take as long as five years out of singing to focus on her relationship with her boyfriend and possibly start a family. Adele, who recently won six Grammy Awards equalling the record for the most won by a female solo artist in one night, claims that she will hopefully return from her break with a much happier album.
Adele explained, "I am f**king off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy.” She then continued by adding, "And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch."
Adele performed at the Grammy Awards at the weekend for the first time since she underwent throat surgery back in November of last year. Adele claims that she found the performance very peaceful and she even took the time to thank God for the recovery of her voice, which she was worried would never heal 100%.
