There was once a time when it looked like actress Adrianne Palicki was never going to have any real luck on the superhero scene, as she continued to find herself struggling with the superhero projects that she was involved in. Fortunately though, that has all now changed and Adrianne has found herself becoming quite popular among the comic book fans.
The bad superhero run saw Adrianne Palicki being replaced by Laura Vandervoort as Supergirl in the hit The CW series Smallville, before appearing in a role for the failed The CW Aquaman pilot. However, the biggest superhero failure for Adrianne Palicki would have to be her role as Wonder Woman in yet another failed pilot episode.
Fortunately though, Adrianne Palicki was taken in by Marvel and cast in the role of Mockingbird for the hit television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which has been a great move for all involved. Adrianne has seen Mockingbird being one of the most popular characters on the show and it looks like it has led to a bigger and better opportunity.
It was recently revealed that Marvel and ABC have plans to create an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff series and it has been claimed that Adrianne Palicki is in talks to have Mockingbird leading the way on the new show. We are not too sure what the purpose of this spinoff series will actually be but we hope that they use it as a way to introduce some of the lesser Marvel comic book characters.
The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff is currently in the script writing process and it will not be officially given a green light until the script has been turned in. Watch this space!
