Bill & Ted actor Alex Winter, who played Bill S Preston in the hit movies Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, has revealed a little about the plot of Bill & Ted 3. Alex claims, in an interview with MTV, that the third instalment of the Bill & Ted franchise will focus a lot on modern rock.
Winter explained, “It was sort of like, what would it be like to revisit these guys now. The movies were always about rock and roll. That was a big part of the movies, so [we'll explore] what's happened to rock and roll in the last 20 years.”
He added, "The movie's gonna get in and play with some of that stuff. Where's rock, where are we, what's happened to the whole idea of saving the world, or what hasn't happened? I think the reality is there probably will be another one."
Both Alex Winter and his Bill & Ted co star Keanu Reeves have previously admitted that the script for Bill & Ted 3 has finally been completed. It is believed that the Bill & Ted 3 script has now been sent out to studios in a bid to get the movie picked up.
