British actress Alice Eve has had a hugely successful career to date, which has seen her appear in such projects as the HBO television series Entourage, as well as the Hollywood blockbuster movie Star Trek Into Darkness. With such success comes many critics and not all of the reviews are always positive all of the time.
It is never easy to read or hear anything negative about yourself, which must make being a Hollywood star all the more difficult. So how does one deal with the negative critics in Hollywood? Well, Alice has revealed that she does not actually pay them any attention and only takes notice of the opinions of those who really matter.
Eve explained, "You have to be emotionally well equipped to be an actor You are constantly being looked at and judged and you have to not find it destructive. One way of doing that is not reading any negative stuff. I only deal with directors [not the critics], because they are the ones who shape me and my performance."
Since becoming such a successful Hollywood star, Alice Eve has had to relocate to the US, now living in Los Angeles, although she does admit that she is, and always will be, a Londoner at heart. Alice Eve stars with Bryan Cranston in the movie Cold Comes the Night, which opened in the UK back in September 2013 and will hit the US on January 10.
