Alice Eve to star in Star Trek sequel

It has been confirmed that English actress Alice Eve is the latest star to be cast for the J.J. Abrams, Star Trek sequel. Alice’s career is going from strength to strength, as she is beginning to get one big movie role after another. Earlier this year, Alice Eve appeared in the final season of the hit HBO show Entourage and since then she has been cast in a number of movies.

Alice Eve has already finished filming her scenes for her role as Young Agent Oh, in the Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones movie sequel, Men In Black III. Now, Alice is set to appear alongside the likes of Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto, when filming for Star Trek 2 to begins in the new year.

The, as of yet untitled, Star Trek sequel has now cast two new members, after it was reported that Benicio Del Toro was also set to star in the movie, however it has still to be confirmed. While it is believed that Benicio will play a familiar face from the Star Trek universe, Alice Eve is set to portray a brand new character. Star Trek 2 is set to begin filming in January, with an expected release date of May 17, 2013.
