Alison Brie is one of the brightest comedic stars of today’s acting generation, and it’s always a delight to see her on late night shows. Now that Community has returned [finally!], the cast has been promoting it non-stop and Brie stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to discuss the show’s return.

Community’s fourth season was originally supposed to come out in October but due to delays, is now coming on the air right now. This leads to some interesting thematic delays of episodes that were shot in the fall airing right now, as Brie explains, “We shot all our episodes, and this is the first time we’ve covered them all – Thanksgiving, Christmas, we were really nailing them, and now they’re all like, now. Like, Christmas in April.”
Brie also proceeds to win over fans by admitting that she’s an ‘amateur freestyle rapper’ and then actually rapping on the show. As Fallon does the boom box and the show’s band provides the background music, Brie starts to freestyle rap with some of the lines including, “You’re catching a comedy cold coz we’re bold…if you aint sold, now you’re being told..."
