Alison Lohman is a well-known actress who disappeared from the acting scene in 2009. While for many years she was quite active in Hollywood, she ceased to take roles in up and coming films. Her lack of presence in the media and in new films has left many wondering what ever happened to her.
Lohman put her career to the curb in 2009 in order to marry her spouse, Mark Neveldine. The couple was wed in Watertown, New York in a Roman Catholic ceremony at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. In 2010 Lohman gave birth to her first son, Billy Neveldine. Alison and Mark had decided to keep their child a secret from the public, and the news was not revealed until fifteen months after Billy’s birth.
Before choosing to raise a family, Alison Lohman took numerous lead roles in films and was also featured in a few television shows. She is often cast into roles of teenage girls despite the fact that she is in her early 30’s. She played as the main character in White Oleander and served as a supporting actress to Nicolas Cage in Matchstick Men. The last film she acted in was Sam Raimi’s “Drag Me To Hell.” At the premier of the film she was seen holding hands with Mark Neveldine.
What Alison Lohman plans to do with her acting career remains a mystery to her fans. She has had very little communication with the public since the birth of her son, and all that the media can do is wait to see what she does next.
