After a couple of hit and runs, and one DUI, you’d think Amanda Bynes would want to go away for a while amidst reports concerning the state of her mental health. Many neighbors and witnesses have spoken up to TMZ and talked about seeing Bynes act strangely and talking to inanimate objects, but Bynes is speaking up and saying that there is nothing wrong with her.
She talks to People Magazine, when reached on Wednesday, and says, “"I am doing amazing."
"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line," added Bynes, who was reportedly polite and upbeat on the phone. "I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."

Her parents have reportedly relocated from Texas to Los Angeles to be closer to her in this time, so it’s not just the media and her friends being worried. A source also told People, “"People around Amanda are really concerned about her. She tells people she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem."
Bynes is best known for her work on Nickelodeon, and was never considered to be a particularly ‘wild’ child growing up.
