Over the years we have seen some fantastic new television series hitting our screens and quite a few of them have come courtesy of HBO, which continues to bring us some truly impressive shows. HBO have now given us a new television series to watch and enjoy in the form of the new series Silicon Valley, which premiered last night (Sunday, April 6).
For those of you who have not heard much about the new television series Silicon Valley, it is official described by HBO as "In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A comedy partially inspired by Mike Judge's own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s."
While chatting to npr.com, Crew explained, "Obviously it is a world that is dominated by men. But there are some very important women in that world — pioneers, I feel — who are carving the way for more women to come. So I hope that my character on the show kind of represents that, too."
As well as starring Amanda Crew, the cast of the new HBO series Silicon Valley also includes the likes of Aly Mawji, Jake Broder, Andy Buckley, Porscha Coleman and Jimmy Ouyang, among others. Silicon Valley aired its series premiere on HBO on Sunday, April 6 and the show will run for eight episodes in its first season.
