Amanda Seyfried opens up about some of the more risqué scenes in her new film ‘Lovelace’ in a new interview with Conan O’Brien on his show ‘Conan’.

Seyfried plays Linda Lovelace, the famous pornstar, in the film ‘Lovelace’ and thus had to simulate a lot of sex scenes in the process. She explained to Conan that although the subject matter involved was very explicit, she didn’t actually do any of the things that will be portrayed.
She says, “We simulate these things. And we don’t show any genitalia. For instance, Linda Lovelace is famous for ‘Deep Throat’ so I had to do some oral sex so we would use a popsicle which was great because it would make my lips wet and inflamed. Honestly, I can’t believe I went that far just now. I’m sorry.” Too much? Conan certainly didn’t think so, as he replied, “My soul left my body. There’s a Conan up on the moon right now.”

Seyfried is currently out and about promoting her latest film ‘Les Miserables’, which is currently predicted to become one of the highest grossing musicals in Hollywood history. The reviews, for the most part, are strong and praise the actors performances above the technical aspects of the film. ‘Les Miserables’ releases on Christmas Day, and ‘Lovelace’ releases in 2013.
