Actor Matt Passmore is known for his portrayal of the character Cameron Kennedy in the Australian television series Last Man Standing (2005). In addition, he gained attention through other down under series such as McLeod’s Daughters (2006-9), and previously in Blue Heelers (2003).
Passmore has also made his mark in the American series The Glades (2010-2013), in which he brings the character Jim Longworth to life. America is glad to have Matt on board. He has successfully established his career in both countries. Matt began his career in 2003 with the role of Pete in Tuck and Cover. From this point on, he was cast in several roles in Australian television series’ such as Always Greener (2003), The Cooks (2004-5), The Alice (2005), and Underbelly (2009).
Formerly a truck driver in the army, Matt had no real interest in acting until he had a taste of life on the stage. He found that he had a flair for it and the rest is history as they say. Fans are certainly glad that he had a change of heart. He has by far proven himself in the acting profession through his thoughtful rendering of the characters he represents.
Although Matt Passmore has just 15 acting roles to his credit, he is a sensation that has caught on. We’re all waiting to see what he has to bring in the upcoming film Come Back to Me (2013), which is in the post-production phase. Fans are sincerely hoping to see more from this promising actor.
