Amy Acker recently attended the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con along with the cast members of "Person of Interest" and it quickly became apparent that she has become one of the new favourite actors on the show, something that fans and some entertainment observers have identified due to her popularity on social media.
Her controlled behaviour on the show as she works in conjunction with the machine and basically is unwilling to answer to anyone else has led to her developing a small 'cult' following of fans who are enamoured of her character. On the other hand her impressive display of acting on the show, her ability to find different dimensions of her character that fans could relate to and being able to communicate them to viewers has made her a favourite of the television producers of "Person of Interest" and some filmmakers.
The actress who first joined "Person of Interest" in 2012 now in addition to her return to the series for the next season of the show will be seen in two other projects albeit movies in 2014.
She will show the funny side of her personality in the movie "Let's Kill Ward's Wife" where she will be one of the featured actors in a movie that includes Donald Faison, Patrick Wilson, and Scott Foley. The attractive actress will also be seen in the drama, "The Energy Specialist" where she plays a leading role as well.
Amy Acker thanks to her scene stealing performances as 'Root' in "Person of Interest" has become an actress in demand. She will be seen on both the small and big screen in the latter half of 2014 and in 2015 she will be showing her romantic side as the leading lady in the television movie "The Write Man".
Amy Acker has become a name known to both fans and filmmakers thanks to her outstanding performance on "Person of Interest" and considering how popular she was at the San Diego Comic-Con it looks like she is going to be fan favourite for a very long time.
