Amy Poehler was recently at the David Letterman [via Celebrity Gossip] show to do her promotional duties for her popular comedy show ‘Parks and Recreation’. Poehler recently broke up with husband Will Arnett, but that hasn’t stopped her from remaining funny and upbeat. In the interview, she regaled Letterman with stories of her son Archie.

When talking about her son, she said, “"Archie is turning into such a compassionate boy. He's a lovely and kind kid. The other day, he came up to me while I was getting changed and he put his hands on my shoulders and said 'Mom, I'm so sorry you don't have a penis.' Isn't that nice? Then, he paused and said, 'But did you have one and break it?' I thought it was his way of finding out, if I was to have one, would I take care of it."
Poehler also recently spoke up about a special Halloween episode of Parks and Rec, and said that one particular scene made her cry.

In a conference call with the press, she said, “When I read that scene, I cried because I was so happy that I had my job. It's very rare, as an actor, that you know it's going to be great; that you can just kind of see it [but] when we were shooting that scene, I was just really happy we were getting to do it because I had been looking forward to it. I was just really happy for Leslie."
