Late singer Amy Winehouse, who died earlier this year, has received another tribute from her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield at the MOBO Awards. Dionne previously spoke of her love for Amy and has now spoken further of what influences Winehouse has had on music.
Bromfield explained, “She’s paved the way for, look, Adele, Duffy, I mean, look how massive Adele is now. Amy is an inspiration for everyone, not just me.” She then added, “Her smile was the best memory I’ll ever have of Amy. Her smile was amazing.”
15 year old Dionne Bromfield also gave a tribute performance to Amy Winehouse at the MOBO Awards, which were dominated by Jessie J. Dionne was also nominated for best UK R&B/Soul act but was unsuccessful this time. However time is on this talented young ladies side.
