Frank Lampard hasn’t started many games under Andre Villas-Boas and in the traditional press conference before a Champions League game yesterday he got rather agitated about being questioned so intensely.
Football bosses are used to coming under a series of questions from press from all over the world and learn to deal with it accordingly, but in recent interviews, the new Chelsea manager has become rather sniping about the questions, he fumed at one reporter yesterday when they asked about the status of Frank Lampard saying "What is the dramatic thing here?”.
It was being levelled at him that he wasn’t a fan of Frank Lampard’s and was looking at bringing his career to a close as the player is 33 years old, but he hit back saying “Frank is a magnificent player for Chelsea and for England and he will continue to succeed at this club for many years to come, for as long as I am here”. Andre Villas-Boas was also quick to dismiss any future speculation that may arise also saying "The story about him at the weekend was incredible. We refute all this speculation. It's completely untrue."
