British actor Andrew Garfield has become one of the hottest properties in Hollywood right now and appeared in the Marvel superhero movie The Amazing Spider-Man earlier this year. With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 due out in 2014, Andrew has been talking about the direction he would like to take the character.

Garfield explained to E! Online, “I feel really excited. I feel like we got over a hump with our first one. We had to reinstate the character, and we had to reinvigorate an audience to the character. And I hope to bring more of this theme—the theme of the orphan.”
He added, “I wanna keep exploring that theme of being fatherless, being motherless, searching for purpose and finding a purpose within himself, being a self-made man, I guess.”
Andrew also went on to talk about the Spider-Man suit and how it is going to get a redesign to assist him with any toilet issues he may have, “The suit is undergoing a redesign because I couldn't urinate in it last time. So I'm less nervous 'cause that's gonna be nice,” joked Garfield.
The Amazing Spider-Man will be released on April 18, 2014 in the UK and May 2, 2014 in the US.
