Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield has become a huge movie star and, while he has played some interesting roles over the course of his career, Andrew is now best known for playing the role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise. Garfield reprises the role for the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the actor has been talking about the film.
One of the most iconic things about Spider-Man is his costume and Andrew Garfield has been speaking about the Spider-Man costume for The Amazing Spider-Man movies. Andrew says that, while there are over 20 different Spider-Man costumes, he was not supposed to be allowed to take any of them as a souvenir, although it seems that it did not stop him from taking one.
Garfield was a guest on BBC Radio 1 when he was asked if he was allowed to take home a Spider-Man costume, when he replied, "You know what, they don't, but I may have stolen one and it may be in my luggage, it may be in my hotel room luggage. It may even be in my back pack in the car. It's possible. There are a lot, there are about 23, 24, 25. I don't know, there are a lot of them because they are all in different states of duress and distress. But yeah, they are very snug."
As well as starring Andrew Garfield, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will also see Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan and Paul Giamatti, among many others. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is again directed by Marc Webb and will open on April 18 in the UK, before then hitting the big screen in the US on May 2.
