British tennis player Andy Murray has revealed how he is extremely serious about taking part in the player strike, along with many of his fellow professionals. The players are upset at how many tournaments they have to play in such a short space of time and want a rescheduling of the events.

Andy explained, "It's a possibility. I know from speaking to some players they're not afraid of doing that [striking]. Let's hope it doesn't come to that but I'm sure the players will consider it. If we come up with a list of things we want changed - and everyone is in agreement but they don't happen - then we need to have some say in what goes on in our sport. At the moment we don't.”
There is set to be a meeting in Shanghai next month to decide on what the next move will be and if the players do not get the acknowledgement they crave then a strike is definitely a possibility. An ATP spokesperson explained, "The players should and do have a major say in how the game is run. We remain committed to working with the players and other governing bodies to continue to address their issues."
