Despite being sued by a disgruntled ex-employee, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn't let it bother them at the Japan premiere of Pitt's latest film Moneyball last night.
Angelina looked striking in a classic red dress and nude heels, whilst her actor partner Brad's scruffy hairdo let down his smart suit ensemble. The hollywood power couple stepped out after they were asked to live up to their self-styled image as multimillionaire 'humanitarians' by giving a secretary sacked for taking too much time off work £55,000.
Ana Charlotiaux, 45, is suing the management of the Hollywood stars' £20 million country estate in the south of France, where she worked until February last year. Ana was hired to deal with telephone and email enquiries at Chateau Miraval, near Brignoles, in the Var-Provence region, in 2008. However, when she started taking too much sick leave she was sacked, causing her lawyer, Emmanuel Ludot, to plead unfair dismissal.
Mr Ludot said: "She is not asking for much - just fair compensation for wrongful dismissal." He went on to say: "This money is a drop in the ocean for these stars. She has nothing against them personally, and says she was always treated well by them, but they did not step in to prevent her being dismissed. Mr Brad Pitt, who is also famous for his charity work and adoption of children, should understand that my client should be compensated as soon as possible. We hope they will both be faithful to their reputation for humanitarian causes."
