Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has spoken openly about the issues that she has gone through in recent years, which have led to the actress going through early menopause. While menopause can have a very big impact on a woman's life, Angelina has opened up about her experience, admitting that she has not actually had too bad a time.
Jolie revealed, "I actually love being in menopause… I haven't had a terrible reaction to it, so I'm very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I've grown up. I don't want to be young again."
As well as talking about going through early menopause, Angelina Jolie also went on to talk about her relationship with her husband Brad Pitt. Angelina says that he has been very supportive of her through everything, making her realise how much happier she is now that she ever has been.
Jolie added, "[Brad] made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart, and capable, and cared about her family, that it's not about your physical body. I wouldn't want to be in my 20s or 30s again. I'm someone who didn't think I would live very long. I've been worried about death and cancer and life. I think I've lived very much for the day. Now I've settled into my life with my children and Brad."
When it comes to her career, as well as enjoying a long and successful acting career, Angelina Jolie has also moved behind the camera, proving that she is also a very talented director. As for her latest movie By the Sea, Angelina wrote directed and stars in the film, along with Brad Pitt.
