Angelina Jolie is generally not one to speak out about other people's relationships, but she has made an exception with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's breakup drama. She has taken to her Twitter profile - the Jolie Project (generally only for information relating to her projects) and said "You play along when younger but end up realizing it's a bad idea. Studios gain, but you don't. (Kristen - Robert thing: classic)"
In a series of twitter quotes, she has also shared her thoughts on social networking and media intrusion. The Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart example seemed to mainly be used to demonstrate her example of how studios manipulate relationships and celebrity status to leverage the publicity for their upcoming movies. Jolie would certainly have experience with this, as she got together with Pitt during filming of 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' - however, she's not known to go along with studio expectations, often going without a publicist at major events.

Stewart, on the other hand, has now become a media fixation with celebrities, paparazzi, and everyone else in the country. To capitalize on this sudden rise in interest, Vogue UK has put her on the cover for their October issue, and will no doubt use old interviews with her as Stewart has not been doing media interviews since the scandal broke.
