‘Scary Movie’ star Anna Faris is reportedly in negotiations with Sacha Baron Cohen for the leading female role in his latest movie ‘The Dictator’. Sacha, responsible for creating such hits as ‘Ali G’ and ‘Bruno’, said that Faris is under consideration for the part.
British actor Ben Kingsley has already signed up for the project and will star as one of Cohen’s characters subjects. Cohen will play multiple roles in the film including a disgraced foreign leader and a goat herder.
Larry Charles, who was in charge of filming ‘Borat’ which also starred Cohen, will be directing the movie. Farris is set to play the owner of a New York City food store. ‘The Dictator’ has been described as "the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed" and will be released next Spring.
