AnnaLynne McCord has a new interview with Regard magazine, likely to promote the new season of 90210, returning to the CW. She talks about clothing and fashion, and how being a ‘math nerd’ plays into her fashion choices.
Talking about how she picks out her clothing, she says, “It's all mathematics to me. Geometry, I am not a fashionista, I see lines and symmetry. The way I decide if I like something is purely based on an equation I have in my head that allows me to see if the ratio of 'blousey' to 'fitted' regarding the outfit, is to my liking."
She also talks about being a math nerd, saying, “But the good news is that it allowed me, a terribly-dressed math nerd, to become an actress who doesn't look like a complete frump."
McCord is a regular cast member of 90210, but her career (along with the other members of 90210) never really picked up like the cast of the other CW staple, Gossip Girl. Most of the Gossip Girl actors, while on their final season of the show, have been regularly featured in big movies (some even in summer blockbusters), but there’s no one from 90210 that’s made that sort of break from TV yet. It will be interesting to see if they do after the show comes to an end, which will likely be sooner rather than later based on its low ratings.
