Hollywood stars Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway have been earning rave reviews, especially for their performances in the recent movie Les Misérables. However, it seems that not everybody has been impressed by the actresses, with shoe designer Manolo Blahnik saying they are both un-memorable.
Blahnik was talking in the March issue of Interview, saying, "I saw these girls like Sherilyn Fenn and Lara Flynn Boyle that should be working now instead of these anonymous girls. They're all the same. I don't even know Amanda Seyfried or whatever -- they're all the same!"
He added, "I try to remember—the only one I remember is Julia Roberts because she's particular. Anne Hathaway . . . Pretty? Yes. Wonderful actress? Yes. But, I mean, I don't even remember her. What is it about her? I'm not saying she's not beautiful or a great actress," he explains. "I just don't remember her."
Les Misérables has been nominated for eight Oscars at this years Academy Awards, including Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Anne Hathaway. Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried is set to appear in the lead role of the movie Lovelace, which is set to be released later this year.
