British singer Rita Ora has come a long way over the past couple of years, experiencing huge success with her music career all over the world. The I Will Never Let You Down singer recently had one of the biggest "pinch yourself" moments of her life, when she attended the recent Met Gala, which was full of global superstars.
While there, Rita Ora bumped into the Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway and the two stars got talking. Much to her surprise, and her delight, Rita discovered that Anne was actually a big fan of her music, while she is also a fan of the actresses work.
During a recent interview with the British newspaper The Sun, Ora explained, "I don't often get those pinch yourself moments, but that was up there. I ended up chatting to Anne Hathaway, she looked amazing. She said she was a big fan of mine and I was gob-smacked. I mean, I've watched The Princess Diaries a thousand times. It's my go-to film."
Rita Ora is set for a very big year this year. The talented singer and songwriter is currently at number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40, with her song I Will Never Let You Down, while she also has a few festival performances lined up for the coming year.
Meanwhile, there could be a chance of Rita Ora and Anne Hathaway working together some time in the future, as Rita has now made the move into acting. Ora will make her big screen debut playing Mia Grey in the upcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey, which will open on February 13, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
