It is the dream of ever actor and actress in Hollywood to one day get the recognition that their hard work and talent deserves, by being award an Oscar at the Academy Awards. However, while there are a lot of actors and actresses who have gone on to have long and successful careers after winning an Oscar, there are others who have seen their career slip in a very bad way.
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway won the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar at the 2013 Academy Awards, for her performance as Fantine in the hit 2012 movie Les Miserables. Fortunately for Anne she has not gone the way of so many former Oscar winners before her, and has instead seen her acting career still going strong over the past year and a bit.
Since appearing on the big screen in Les Miserables, we have seen Anne Hathaway appear in a small role in the Joseph Gordon-Levitt directorial debut Don Jon, as well as starring in the film Song One, while she has also lent her voice to the character Jewel in the animated movie Rio 2. Meanwhile, Anne has plenty more movies lined up for the coming years with two movies in production and a further six in development.
Later this year we will see Anne Hathaway appearing in the new Christopher Nolan movie Interstellar, which will see the actress sharing the big screen with Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, and John Lithgow. Interstellar will open on November 7 in both the US and the UK.
Do you think Anne Hathaway will ever win another Oscar?
