It has been claimed that Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway is going to take a break from acting, as she and her husband Adam Shulman have decided to start a family together. Anne and Adam married in September last year and feel that now is the right time to think about having a baby together.

An insider explained to Radar Online, "She hasn’t fully committed to starring in [dark comedy movie] Laggies just yet because she’s thinking about having a baby. It’s a topic that came up after awards season, especially after Anne won the Oscar and felt justified in taking a break from making films."
The source added, "Anne and Adam are very happy, and he’s very relaxed about the situation. He will do anything Anne wants to make her happy. At the moment, they’re contemplating if now’s the right time to have a baby. No one would be surprised if she was pregnant before the end of the year."

Fortunately though, Anne Hathaway has a small role in the Joseph Gordon-Levitt directorial debut Don Jon, which is set to be released later this year, as well as voicing the character Jewel in Rio 2, which is released on April 4, 2014 in the UK and April 11, 2014 in the US.
