It looks like Anne Hathaway is set to follow Natalie Portman down the path to Oscar glory. First a marriage, then an emotional and overwrought speech at the Golden Globes, then a surprise pregnancy announcement, and then Oscar gold.

Rumors are increasing that Anne Hathaway is pregnant, with E! hot Guiliana Rancic told viewers on Golden Globes night, “Rumors are that Anne Hathaway may be pregnant. That’s the buzz on the street right now, which, if true, may be the ultimate awards season good luck charm.”
She continued, "Just ask Natalie Portman, who two years ago swept the award season for her work in ‘Black Swan’ while she was pregnant with her first child. Also Rachel Weisz had a bump while picking up hardware for ‘The Constant Gardener’ in 2006 and Catherine Zeta Jones in 2003, who was just about ready to pop.”

Hathaway’s rep has denied the claims, saying that her client is not pregnant. Of course, publicists are known to lie to protect their clients confidentiality, so the denial doesn’t mean much either way. Hathaway did mention in a recent interview that she’d like to have a child soon, saying, “I’d like to have a few children, naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it … I’d like to have as many as I can afford. I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is, ‘Get a movie.’ Now I might have to say, ‘Get a baby.’”
