Actress Anne Hathaway has revealed how she was suffering from illness, while having to do all of the press for her latest movie Les Misérables. Anne says that, because she was so ill, she could not really celebrate the film in the way that she would have liked to.

Talking to E! Online, Hathaway explained, “You know I was really sick through all of press. So I didn't get to really do a full-blown celebration. But it was nice having the film come out on Christmas because I felt like it was in its proper place, which was just behind seeing family, caroling, watching kids you're related to hopped up on sugar—all my little cousins running around. But then it's like, 'oh yeah, I have a film opening,' but I celebrated it in its proper pecking order.”
As well as Anne Hathaway, Les Misérables also stars Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, Russell Crowe and Eddie Redmayne. Les Misérables was released in the US on Christmas Day and is set to be released in the UK on January 11. The movie is being tipped to be nominated for around 11 Oscars.
