Nickelodeon has brought us many successful actors and musicians over the years and they will continue to do so for many years to come. One of the more recent stars to come out of Nickelodeon and enjoy a recent rise to music success, is actress and singer Ariana Grande, who is continuing her rise to global stardom and will do so later this month.
It has been confirmed that Ariana Grande is going to follow in the footsteps of stars such as Carmen Electra, Kesha and Lady Gaga, by performing at the White Party, which is a gay dance music festival and will take place in Palm Springs on April 26. Ariana joins the likes of Bleona and Pitbull's "Wild Wild Love" collaborators G.R.L., on the bill.
The organisers of the event are clearly delighted to have Ariana Grande on board, with White Party founder and producer Jeffery Sanker saying, "Ariana Grande is one of today's fastest rising superstars and is destined for pop icon status." We could not agree more.
While past events have seen the likes of Carmen Electra, Lady Gaga and Kesha performing, there has also been performances from the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Robyn, Mary J. Blige and Carly Rae Jepsen, to name just a few. We look forward to seeing what Ariana Grande brings to the festival but we expect her to be great.
As for her acting career, there have been suggestions that the Ariana Grande Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat could be set to get cancelled following the recent Jennette McCurdy lingerie pics, although nothing official has yet been confirmed.
