Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks previously dated last fall, but their relationship ended in anger and betrayal when Jai accused Ariana of cheating on him. His Twitter rant about Ariana cheating went viral, and although the rumors were never confirmed, he was clearly hurt over the cheating allegations.
However, the two are back together and reportedly better than ever. Sources tell Hollywood Life, "Ariana and Jai are great. They spend as much time together as possible and are really happy. They watch movies, Jai draws and they listen to music. Pretty basic.”
Well, at least they're both committed to each other this time, which is a far cry from where they left things off the first time. Jai also admitted in a recent interview that it would be difficult to part from Ariana when it came time to tour in September, especially since Ariana would also be going off on her tour in October. The separation might end up spelling yet another breakup for the lovebirds, but it looks like they could be strong enough to fight through it.
There's no question that Ariana and Jai are crazy about each other, but it's really a matter of how much time they can spend together. Jai will be on tour with his comedy troupe for a few months, and Ariana's months-long music tour will take her all over the country. There's little chance of both of them meeting regularly, and they'll just have to wait for breaks and fly out to meet. It will add another kink in their travel schedules, but it wouldn't be surprising to see them try to salvage their relationship this time.
This does mark some positive press for Ariana, who has been at the center of rumors concerning a friendship breakup with Jennette McCurdy. Jennette wrote a long expose a while ago targeting a famous friend [who she refused to name], stating that she stopped being friends with this person because they were so self-obsessed. Most people guessed that Jennette was talking about Ariana, which led to some intense scrutiny over their friendship online.
