Social Network actor Armie Hammer is set to appear on the big screen next month as Prince Charming, in the Tarsem Singh adaptation of the classic fairytale Snow White. However, Armie is not a fan of the character being called Prince Charming and would much rather refer to him by his proper name Prince Andrew Alcott.
Hammer explained, “Prince Charming, it sounds so nerdy, so I’ll say this, I play the role of Andrew Alcott in this and that allows me to stomach it a bit more.” Armie then went on to praise his co star Lily Collins, who he claims is perfect for the role of Snow White. He added, “She’s going to be a fantastic Snow White because she sort of has this thing that’s like Audrey Hepburn and Bambi got together and had a kid and that’s Lily.”
Armie Hammer then discussed his scenes with Julia Roberts, saying, “My scenes with Julia were mostly her trying to seduce me and get me to propose to her and marry her, so I saw the sweet but the scary at the same time.” You can see Armie Hammer, Lily Collins and Julia Roberts in the Tarsem Singh, Snow White movie Mirror Mirror, when it is released on March 30 in the US and April 2 in the UK.
