It has been reported that the unlikely double act of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are set to reunite for a sequel to the hit 1988 comedy movie Twins. The Hollywood Reporter has claimed that Universal Pictures and Ivan and Jason Reitman's Montecito Picture Company are in the early stages of development for the movie.

It has also been suggested that Eddie Murphy is set to join up with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito for the sequel as a third sibling in the movie, which is currently being called Triplets. The latest reports come after years of speculation about a Twins sequel.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito and Eddie Murphy are all said to be on board for the movie but it is still in the very early stages of development. Both Universal Pictures and Montecito Picture Company are still to have serious creative discussions for the Twins sequel.

It is believed that writer’s are currently being sought after to pen the script for the movie. A new director will also be needed, as Jason Reitman will not be helming the project but will instead be producing it through Montecito Picture Company.
