Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to try and put the failure of his marriage behind him and get back to his acting day job. Arnold has signed up to star in the forthcoming Jee-woon Kim western Last Stand, which is set to star filming in September.
An insider revealed, "It's a property which a zillion directors fell in love with: the good, the bad, the weird. It's an old-fashioned Western specifically designed for a 63-year-old broken-down guy with a moral decision - whether Arnold decides to stand up for his town. We always needed an iconic figure for it."
It is believed that British actor Liam Neeson was close to signing on for the lead role before Schwarzenegger declared an interest in the movie. It will be interesting to see what sort of an impact his troubled personal life has on his movie sales, when Last Stand is released in 2013.
