Former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts has made a very positive impression on the UK public and it appears that she is looking to forge a television career there. It is claimed that Ashley is hoping to get a role hosting The X Factor UK or the spin-off show The Xtra Factor.

Roberts friend Bobby Newberry told the Sunday Mirror, “Ashley would love to move to the UK and make a career there, and I think that'll be her next move. She would love to do television presenting. She just missed out on a job at The X Factor USA, hosting the show, and I know she was very keen to do that.”
Bobby added, “If she got the opportunity to work on the UK show, she would do that in a heartbeat. The UK loves her and they want more of her, so this isn't the end of her on television screens in the UK.”

Meanwhile, a source added, “Her representatives have been inundated with offers of work and she could become a household name in Britain now she has stepped out of the shadow of Nicole and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls. X Factor would be her dream gig, but if she couldn't make it on to the main show, she would be perfect for The Xtra Factor on ITV2.”
