Ashley Smith was discovered as a model relatively late as she was just about to graduate from high school when a modelling scout from Foreman management discovered her at the Southwest music festival in Texas. The agency flew her to New York and shortly afterward she had three agencies fighting over her.

When she first started she was looked at as a risk because she was shorter than the typical model and came with a gap tooth smile and a great physique similar to Lara Stone. In fact, she was for a time considered the next "Lara Stone" but over the past three years she had developed a style all her own which depending on her mood might be femme fatale on one day and the next day might be school girl.
The one-time 'risk' model for modelling agencies has now become one of the hottest young American models and her successes have been many and just keep on coming. She recently walked into a modelling shoot for RVCA with several other hot male skateboarders and after her audition the modelling job was hers. Moreover, they asked her to collaborate with them to develop a clothing line and the product was clothes that are very much like her, girly and naughty.

She is also heating up the Internet with her cover girl picture and feature for SRC783 Magazine for which she was photographed on Coney Island modelling printed hoodies, crop tops and denim jackets.
The 'risk' model Ashley Smith has become a model commodity because she has never tried to change who she is, she only improved on it. She works out with a trainer but the gap-toothed smile is still present and her body is still unique, buxom and fit with the attitude and feistiness to match.
