When it was revealed how Charlie Sheen had gone off the rails in quite a big way and was being sacked from the hit television series Two and a Half Men, many thought that it would be the end for the show, as Charlie was pretty much the heart and soul of the series since day one.

The Charlie Sheen era
Then it was announced that the producers of the CBS comedy series had managed to agree a deal with Ashton Kutcher to be the new male lead of Two and a Half Men. A lot of people were very sceptical about this, feeling that the show would never be the same and would descend on a downward spiral, before ultimately being cancelled.
However, Two and a Half Men managed to hold its own without Charlie Sheen, as Ashton Kutcher proved that he was more than a worthy replacement. Since joining the show, Ashton Kutcher and co. have even seen Two and a Half Men hit new highs, proving that there is life after Charlie Sheen.

Ashton Kutcher is now the star
Still clearly hung up on the series, Charlie Sheen has had regularly pops at Ashton Kutcher and Two and a Half Men, claiming that the show has lost its way since he left. While we do have to agree that Two and a Half Men was better with Charlie Sheen on it, we did have to admit that Ashton Kutcher is doing a solid job and long may he continue.
